File Format Studies (JPG - word replacement)
Whole blocks of 4 8bit words were replaced throughout a 4000x3000px white JPG.  For this animation all A0 02 8A 28 blocks were replaced with DE AD FE ED.  The image was then opened in GIMP and frames for the animation were selected by scrolling through the file.
As pointed out earlier, this is a loose Gerhard Richter tribute… funny how his work predicts perfectly glitch visual aesthetics.
